I’m a photographer, videographer, and FAA-certified drone pilot based in Lexington, South Carolina. For me, photography is about slowing down, noticing what matters and telling stories that feel honest and real.

My sessions are relaxed and easygoing. No pressure to perform, no over-posing. Just natural light, a little direction, and space for real moments to happen. Whether I’m photographing a young family, a couple at golden hour, or capturing a quiet detail you didn’t even realize you’d want to remember, I’m always looking for the in-between moments that say the most.

I’ve spent more than a decade in digital marketing helping brands tell meaningful stories through visuals and strategy. That background has shaped the way I shoot, with intention, attention to detail and an understanding of what makes an image connect. But photography is where I feel most grounded. It’s where I get to create without the noise.

Outside of work, I’m usually out on a trail, exploring with my camera, or flying my drone at sunset. You’ll catch a lot of those adventures on Instagram at @brettxplore. It’s become the place where I chase light, test new ideas and share a different side of what I do.
